One Health International aims to educate the public about the holistic health connecting all living things. We enhance the well-being of humans, animals and our shared environment through diverse programs and media engagement.
The One Health Movement
The One Health Movement is supported by numerous organizations including the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Medical Association. Much of the focus has been on educating health practitioners and scientists about the movement. In addition, the emphasis has traditionally centered on infectious disease.
One Health International aims to expand this movement. Our goal is to educate the public by introducing One Health to the mass media. This includes promoting the concepts of One Health through all mediums of broadcast news, including specific television programming.
In addition, One Health International aims to expand the concept of One Health beyond infectious disease. This concept of expanding includes taking the core holistic principles linking humans, animals and our shared environment to new paradigms. Our programs will take the values of One Health and apply them to new example projects.
